We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Front Load Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of trucks, including front loader, toilet truck and the occasional roll-off truck. The driver is responsible for safely operating a Commercial Waste truck, servicing Commercial customers with waste and recycling collection and representing our company with professionalism. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in delivering services while managing heavy lifting and ensuring proper loading and unloading of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Operate front loader trucks and other commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collect and transport waste & recycling from commercial customers.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are utilized.
- Navigate routes effectively to deliver services in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate deliveries or any issues that might occur when servicing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front End driver or a similar role involving commercial driving.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to various truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off trucks, and toilet trucks.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical demands associated with loading/unloading materials.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
